Vancouver, Canada—April 11, 2012—The Engineering Co-op program recently held awards ceremonies for outstanding graduating students, faculty and industry partners at both UBC Vancouver and Okanagan. The employers of the year were Klohn Crippen Berger (Vancouver) and Stantec (Okanagan). Faculty of the year were Professor John Howie (Civil Engineering, Vancouver) and Professor Andre Phillion (School of Engineering, Okanagan). Students of the year were Madeleine Schaefer (Electrical Engineering, Vancouver), Matt Sauer (Civil Engineering, Okanagan) and Alexander Winardi (Masters, Mechanical Engineering, Vancouver).
